My theme will revolve around analog horror. A good example of this is the Mandela catalog, a horror film creator on youtube. The films they make include alternates, religious factors and more.

When directors create their theme, it usually relates to what genre they are using. Horror themes include fonts for their credits as rigid or drippy to give off an unsettling feeling. Rigid fonts create the illusion of a scratch or a roar whilst drippy fonts represent blood.

Alternates express features like "Uncanny valley" Although, what makes them scary is the fact that they look similar to human kind. This supports how they are attempting to imitate it for an unidentified reason.

An aspect that these copiers have can be distorted faces or blackened eyes. This helps express that unfamiliar sense to them. A distorted face will not completely and correctly copy one of a human, making it look as if it is a monster. Blackened eyes help represent emptiness or isolation.

Although, features that copy human kind exaggeratedly can also be one of these aspects. Enlarged pupils display uneasiness because of the eye contact a character makes with an alternate. Limbs that are elongated share this feeling due to the revulsion illuminating their appearance. An example of this can be "Mommy long legs" from the game "Poppy Playtime".

For my opening sequence, the font for my credits will appear as rigid or like hand writing. The relevance of this to analog horror is the mystery behind each shot. The use of alternative idea's made about human kind will also be utilized to showcase the disequilibrium regarding the storyline.
