My script will contain minimal dialogue. This is to provide the silence needed to create suspense. However, the small bits of speaking that the characters do will enhance the psychological fear into my audience.

Having a script helps me section out the scenes in my final cut. This way, when I am acting and editing, I know exactly what I am supposed to do. Furthermore, it makes room for character development. As I can see what characters will be doing what, I can easily organize and alter them however I need to make a scene create more depth and meaning.

a bit of my script draft.

As shown, my script draft mostly contains actions. This will be easy for me to work with because I am able to visualize every scene. My filming crew will also have an easy time with this.

Scripts also help with collaboration within the team by allowing everybody to focus on their part. This way, filming will go smoothly. Scripts usually tend to build the structure of a scene.

Not only this but scripts help attract the main factors needed to create a film. This may be actors, new sound ideas, new plot ideas, character designs or editing ideas. This lays out the storyline so that developers understand their financial situation as well.
