Costuming is an important factor for movie making. For example, in horror or action films, the characters will most likely be wearing darker, more nonchalant colors or ripped clothing. This emphasizes what is going on in each scene. It also provides context for one. As shown in the provided photo, characters in horror films utilize dark colors to enhance the eerie-ness of a plot.

For my protagonist, she will be wearing a black hoodie, skater jeans, air force ones and her hair will be down. She will be wearing light mascara as well. This is because I want my audience to see that she is a teenager. The usage of a black hoodie and skater jeans (grey-ish) also supports the horror part to my film. However, the hoodie will have some white on it to represent her innocence. Her dirty but still quite white airforce ones will also add to this.

For my antagonist, she will be wearing exactly what the protagonist is wearing. This is because she is an alternate. Although, her clothes will be slightly more roughed up. The purpose of this is to develop the scared feeling within a viewer. By showing the difference between the two, my audience will understand that the villain is evil. Her dirty clothes will also produce mystery behind her character, making people who are watching wonder where she has been.
