When filming, it is expected that I will not be available all the time. I may be sick, injured or too busy with my personal life. In the film world, directors need to reschedule and rework shoots, use body doubles or previous footage to deal with this issue. The script might have to be re-written as well.

The availability of stars in blockbuster films alter how successful the results are. For instance, when an actor is constantly working, their performance may begin to get worse. This causes them to be absent during filming in order to rejuvenate.

There are still other ways that producers solve actor absence. One is called recasting. Recasting means to replace an actor. This usually happens due to one's personal life or scheduling problems.

In "Lord of the Rings" Uma Thurman rejected the role of Eowyn due to the birth of her first child. Now, the person who plays her is Miranda Otto. Moreover, Rachel Weisz did not return to make "The Mummy 3" because she claimed that she had signed onto a different film. The directors then recast Evelyn O' Connell as Maria Bello.

During filming week, I may struggle with recording myself, as I am the main character and director. These factors will strongly be effected if I am too busy with other school work and personal business. Although, I may solve this problem by recording as soon as possible and using my unavailable days to edit and change my script.
