While filming the scenes including Charlotte, I was challenged by many issues. These issues held me back by taking away from the time that I had to record. It also causes frustration which leads to a lack of quality acting and filming within the actors and crew.
One challenge I had a particularly hard time with rerouting was working with my dad. I had him record a shot of me from behind. This was the first shot that Charlotte, me, would appear in. The issue here is that he did not record me properly.
For instance, when I told him to follow me from behind; he walked too far behind me. This was a problem because the shot is supposed to record only my top half, as it is a mid shot. Although, he continuously got my bottom half in the shot as well.
Another issue that was troubling was Mina, my dog. Her job was to walk in front of me in the same shot as said before. However, she would not walk correctly and kept on laying down. This is a result of not taking her on regular walks, showing that she is not trained well.
Furthermore, I noticed that in one of the clips I took while practicing this same shot; I did not hold my left arm up. This was a necessary shot to be taken because the next shot would show that I am on my phone. If I did not lift my left hand up in the pre-shot, the pro-shot would not make sense. It would look uneven due to me suddenly having my phone out of nowhere.
