Post #37 Practicing filming the running scene

 One of the ideas I came up with for a shot included Charlotte running after Mochi. The purpose of this was to show that he ran away after the leash unclipped. This progresses the story by leading Charlotte into the forest. 

My vision for this shot would be a low angle and have slow-mo editing as I ran past the camera. For instance, the camera would go into slow-mo and follow my foot as I ran past, then continue back into a regularly timed shot as I continued. I practiced filming this shot on my mom to show her how I wanted it to look.

However, my mom was unable to record this shot in the correct way. So, the shot turned out as shown. To make up for this, I decided to act clueless and dash into the forest to make it seem as if Charlotte knew that her dog had gone in there. I will crop part of the beginning and the end to create realism.
