Whilst editing my final cut, I have come across a couple of editing difficulties. This includes figuring out transitions. For instance, when Charlotte walks over to meet the alternate, the camera is supposed to look at her and swing across the trees to see the alternate. As Charlotte and the Alternate are played by the same person, this transition is not possible in real life. However, in editing, I can cut the two shots and create a quick swipe transition. This is difficult to do because the transitions available in KineMaster do not fit the criteria I am trying to achieve. However, I have attempted fixing this issue by using the flash swipe option. This covers up the cut between the two shots so that it does not appear "choppy". Although, I do wish there was a way to remove the flash. The purpose of this is to create a smoother transition.

Another issue that I've found is doing sound bridges from shot to shot. I want to utilize sound bridges because it helps my audience engage with my film. It helps create realism. Not only this but it allows viewers to feel as if they are in the film themselves. When Charlotte enters the forest, the shot taken after that showcases her struggling to get through the bushes and leaves. These two shots are connected by sound. I am also unsure if the entering shot should be shorter. For example, I originally planned for it to be a long shot. This would show Charlotte running after Mochi and turning to enter the forest. Nevertheless, it seems too long and provides too much information in a singular shot.
